A simpler way
Jesus' life and teachings are the lens through which Christ's Community views all biblical text. The way is drawn from Jesus' teachings, His parables, His sit-downs with His disciples and His interaction with the Pharisees and Scribes. It is through these teachings that Christ's Community places its focus on developing a healthy visceral response to God and to one another, no matter who, no matter where.
